Toyota Yaris Key Fob Not Unlocking - Mar 07, 2019 · hi all, i have an issue with my wife's yaris.. The inside button does work though, and i can still unlock the driver's door with the key. Put seatbelt on (or clip it into the buckle) to shut the warning buzzer off. Remote lock/unlock fails, but button on door works. I can now start the car with it as long as i put the fob close to the ignition/start button but i cant lock the car with it.
